Central Air Units froze up???

What is going on when the pipes outside of your central part freezes up? What do I need to do. I am within Alabama and I have a newborn tot who can't be hot. We don't have plentifully of money. How can I fix this???

Answers:    It is either incorrect airflow or low on freon. For a step by step troubleshooting guide go to the heavens conditioner page at my source.
You will have to walk out it off for while lucklessly. It has to hold time to unfreeze. In the mean time you should try and stretch out up the windows or use a supporter. I don't know what your weather is like but its cool here contained by GA. I typically open the porthole and set a fan inside it to verbs the cool air surrounded by. Hope this helps.
I am not sure what can be done. The condenser freezes
because of the humid nouns. Maybe a hair dryer blowing
down through the louvers will soften the ice.
turn past its sell-by date the a/c but let the aficionado run this will melt the rime on the evaporator you need to check the filter and replace if dirty you could also be low on refrigrant (freon)
It probably wants charged with freon.....you will hold to call an a/c company for that. But first check to see if the filter is dirty or if the condenser is dirty. If your filter is clogged consequently change the filter, turn the a/c to the on position instead of auto, turn the heat/cool to past its sell-by date and let the component run for about an hour or so to liquefy out the lines. Second, go outside to the condenser and look at the coils within the condenser. If you can see that they are clogged with grass or other driftwood then you will stipulation someone to wash it out. Turn the power rotten to the condenser (flip the breaker to the off position), thieve out the screws holding the top down, move up the top off (someone will enjoy to hold the top while you are cleaning), get a hose and clear up the coils from the inside of the condenser. This might take a while depending on how dirty it is.
it may necessitate recharging next to refrigerant
or the air intake on cooling element may need cleaning
solitary a few possible reasons for this to start....1 very dirty filter...2 dirty a-coil, this is the coil contained by the inside unit..you hold to check the side that faces the upper air filter....3 low on freon....there is nought else will make it freeze up if it use to operate awfully good...turn the section off set the adherent switch on thermostat to on and let it run for an hour or so until it completely defrost...
