Pool interrogate?

Considering buying a house that has a pool and spa..Would close to to know what the cost would be to upkeep it and how much it will cost to run it as well...per annum, monthly however you wish to answer...and it also have solar powers to heat the pool, which kinda help I suppose...thanks

Answers:    Depends on where on earth you live. My pool adds roughly speaking 60.00 a month to my bill. Chemicals cost about 150.00 per season. I live surrounded by Phoenix and my season is March - October. I don't have a spa so I can't relieve you on that part. Look at the website for your local utility company, hopefully they enjoy a calculator in nearby somewhere that figures cost of electricity for household items...mine does. You will own to play with the amount of time you run your cleaning system/filter as that will affect your bill. My sale rep suggested running my filter 8 hours a day....logically he did , he wanted my pool spotless so I wouldn't ring him about anything. I played around and immediately run my filter 3 hours a day and it is spotless and I don't pay envelope for 150 hours a month of electricity. Just keep that contained by mind. Solar power is great, your season will be longer. Pools are a lot of fun and if you enjoy kids you can make them maintain it up. If you don't have kids you are looking at roughly 10-15 minutes a day upkeep...... more after a storm...and perchance more depending on your cleaning system. Without more detail to your question this is the best information I can pass you.
Here is the deal beside pools. They are going to cost money to operate and chemicals. A normal size pool isn't that much power usage but chemicals are going on for 300.00 + a year for some good chemicals.

The pool stuff sold at Wal Mart and most home supplies may seem to be cheaper in price but I can attest it won't finishing half as long as the supplies sold within a pool supply store. More cost up front but I guarantee you it won't be half the work and a verbs pool all year buying the well brought-up stuff.
Here is what I pay for my pool and spa.

For the pool, digit $100 per month in electricity to run the pump. You can drain the pump and filter within the winter and turn if off to reclaim $ during the months it is not in use. Make sure you drain it biddable or it will freeze and burst. $50 per month for chemicals, more if your kids like to play surrounded by lakes and creeks and consequently get surrounded by the pool.

For the spa, about $20 per month for electricity and $20 per month for chemicals.
