i posted a question yesterday more or less my furnace acting weird it would see on for about a minute and turn bad for five and repeat itself i called my boyfriend grandpa and he said it sounded approaching a thermo cuppler? if im spelling that right ? does this sound give or take a few right for what my furnace is doing? if so are these exspensive and hard to install?
Answers: If the thermocouple is impossible your furnace will not come on at all. They cost in the region of $6. You can check to see if...the fan is running or not or if the atmosphere filter is clogged.
There is usually a limit switch that will turn past its sell-by date the gas if the fan doesn't come on. After it cools down the gas will come on again. The thermostat could be impossible? That will cost you around $35 to $50 or more depending on the kind of thermostat you requirement. Hope that helps.
