Of course when you bend the needle, or stir through something way too glutinous it's supposed to do this. HOWEVER, it started happening more and more and won't even sew what it's supposed to any more. I mingy it will, but every inch or so at time, the clutch disenges and I either hold to tighten it up or roll the wheel a bit to acquire it going again. It happens to much my fingers are sore! I own changed the needle, oil and cleaned the machine, etc. Belt stiffness feels foolproof and I am not sewing anything all that gluey for it to do this. HELP?!?
Answers: Not familiar near this machine. Sounds similar to your clutch needs adjust or replacing. This type of clutch is a common application and most are adjustable. Try to tighten the adjustment if in that is one or look at possibly replacing the clutch... it could be worn out. Hope this helps.
