Does a stove use more electricity than a micro oven?
Answers:
Yes because the Stove works on the Heat priniciple! While the Microwave Oven workson Radiation theory/principle. Heat cooked food is safer than radiated food because radiated food is actually aggitated food. Some extremely sensitives can find there emotions increased by Microwave Cooked foods..if living off such foods regularly. My adviseuse the stove mostly and microwave oven occasionally. Don't be a microwave oven hollic! Occasinally use of a microwave will be fine! Too much may lower your hydro bill but it'll increase your health costs!

An electric stove uses much more power.
Yes, it does - because you have to use it longer than a microwave to get something cooked - if you compare minute to minute use, the microwave uses just a bit more.
Only if it is an electric stove.
Yes, it will take more electricty to get something to the same temp. as a microwave.
The smallest burner on a stove is 600 watts most microwaves are about that but heat much quicker. So yes a stove uses a lot more than a microwave oven
The stove will use more, it takes longer to cook something on. The micro-wave is normally only on for a few minutes. I bake potatoes and squash in a micro wave. If I want a decent roast though I use the oven. I am hoping they come out with pizza that you can take from your freezer to the microwave.
