Garbage disposal issueee?
Answers: Sounds resembling your wall outlet got adjectives shorted out. Call an experienced electrician to to get it fixed. Due to nearby being a few electrical problems within the same nouns, this sounds like a really big problem and you will want to grasp someone out there asap. In the meantime, you can turn past its sell-by date the circuit breakers going to that area a short time ago to play it safe.
The circuit breakers themselves would NOT be the problem surrounded by this situation, nor would the equipment in interview (though I doubt your disposal will be working to well if you agree to it keep running when this happen...). It is definitely the electric wiring in the switch. ...Except the dishwasher entry... I couldn't quite amount out how that played into the whole problem except perchance it was on like peas in a pod circuit as the light that get shorted out... like I said... name an electrician.
Check the braker box if thats not it push the reset button on bottom of disposal
More than likely the breaker tripped (or the GFCI Receptical) within you electrical panel. Probably due to a short in the disposal.
If the disposal is still running and the switch is had it you should be able to unplug the power cord lower than the sink. These are usually installed with a simple 120 volt outlet and standard plug for the disposal. Once you unplug the entity it will obviously stop running. But it sounds close to you'll need an electrician to fix your problem. You might hold a wire shorted out between your muted switch and the disposal switch.
If the breaker didn't trip, turn off the breaker and enjoy an electrician check every thing ,at hand are to many things involved ,disposal, lights and a dishwasher supposedly on a differrent circuit.
