Are longer term roofing warranties worth the money?
Answers:
You are better off spending the x-tra money to get a longer life shingle. The difference between shingles is that the longer the life the thicker and more durable they are. So if you buy a 50 year shingle they will last and there is no need for a warrinty. Where as if you buy a 10 year they are thin and dont stand up to wind and hail as well. So just spend the money to get the highest year rarting you can.
