Is it normal for a wood dresser to just topple over?
Answers:
Quite common in earthquake country, and not too rare in old homes with crooked floors. It's also a mandatory event for any poltergeist movie.
Why would you call anyone? After seven years, it's not like the better business bureau is going to reprimand the shop, and you probably won't be able to collect anything by suing. Chances are that the dresser itself has been damaged, or was overloaded near the front.
In the future, you could bolt it to the wall. Drill a hole through the whole thing, use some extra long screws and those drywall anchors. Bada boom, bada bing, you spend less than ten bucks, and the dresser aint going nowhere for nothing!

LOL !! Dont open two drawers at the same time. EVER. Whats wrong with you. After seven years, and this is the first time it happened? Good odds. Ohhhhh gosh no, don't contact any more safety organizations, because, they'll just keep putting more warning labels on things that don't need it. COMMON SENSE PEOPLE !! And if you're serious about this question...... just be careful and don't ever sell it in a yard sale to someone who has young children without your own warning to them.
