Does S.Carolina have a State income tax?

I am considering moving to S.Carolina from So. Florida where there is no State income tax and want to be sure I can afford this move on a fixed income.

Also, what kind of home could I buy for about $120,000? What towns would be nice for that amount of money?

Yes to the income tax. SC real estate is up towards the coast. You should check farther north for cheeper prices.
