Table top discoloured by sunlight?
how can i lighten up the darkened areas to clash the rest of the table.
Answers: If it's an uncoated wooden table I'd be inclined to plane and sand it down to a strange surface and revarnish it.
Using some kind of wood stain to try and game the colour of the light and dismal areas would be a very hit and miss affair. You could if you quality like it try staining the entire table a much dark colour.
Next summer cover up the bits that were exposed this year and permit the sun do the rest
