That thingymajic should work, it should come with instructions and i think all you do is plug it in and let it do it's job ;-)
First you need to understand why you do not like spiders...Freud said the spider represented the Mother or Woman figure...do you have an abusive relationship with your Mother???....spiders are really beautiful....try to see that..look at them in the garden...they are very clever...I keep one in my conservatory...it comes out at night & eats any flies....they wont hurt you in the U.K.....
A friend of mine has one of those to scare rodents and birds from nesting in her roof. It has scared them off but it hasn't scared off any insects. I don't have any idea how to scare off spiders, sorry.
BTW. I just have to say to TheBubba666 that I too am scared of spiders and it's simply their speed that scares me... if I could catch the little sods when they're running about my house I wouldn't be scared. No problems between me and my mum because she walks at an acceptable speed.
Have sex in front of them. They vomit and die. They are not sexy you see with them tiny little legs and they are not well endowed either. But they dont really harm you at all. they just tickle and I hate to be tickled you know I go mad laughing my head off and they love that and what do they do they get hungry and eat all damn silly buggy flies. Now flies are something else. they are pervert. dont try making love in front of them. Them buggers get the binocular out and start rubbing their legs together from joy.
