Lysol. I just feel like it helps clean better. I don't know why. Febreze is good for fabrics but lysol covers everything! I love it!

I like Febreze fabric refresher (it works great), and Lysol to kill the germs (better at killing germs than anything else on the market)!
Cleaning is the best method of controlling odors.
Febreze dulls the scent receptors in your nose, it does nothing for the germs who are creating the gases that are causing the odor. Lysol kills the germs but leaves residue and requires potentially harmful chemicals to propel and to provide the disinfecting capabilities. Oust is Lysol with a special nozzle that makes a finer mist so more of the disinfectant stays suspended in the air and can kill germs that are floating, incidentally the user also takes in much more of the chemicals.
All of these contain synthetic fragrances that A. are normally made by heating up coal-tar until the constituent chemicals are released and then trapped, and B. contribute to respiratory ailments as well as having been shown to be carcinogenic.
I like essential oils like lavender or lemongrass, both have studies supporting their anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-septic properties, yet they smell good and probably won't kill you.
Get a dry nebulizing diffuser from an aromatherapy shop to have no-fuss setup to put these natural aromas into your environment.
I like and use all of them. I like Febreze in the living room and Lysol in the kitchen and Oust in the bathroom. .
