i found a snake in my garden and it is green and brown. can you tell me what's the name of this snake.?

Sounds like it may just be a garden (garter) snake. They are non-poisonous and do not bite. I would look it up on the internet thought to make sure.
It's hard to tell you what it is without a picture though.
If it's green with brown stripes running down the length of its body, it might be a garter snake.

Are his eyeballs round and beady or catlike (slanted)? Most non-poisonous snakes have the round beady eyes. If he's got round beady eyes, don't worry about him, enjoy his company!!
