i just got a baby watermelon plant, wat is the best way to go about and take care of it?

im 11, and love plants, and i got a watermelon plant, and have been watering it good, there are some new leaves, , and the stalks stronger, is there anything else i should do?

I hope that you planted it in the yard. If so, just make sure that it doesn't get run over by the lawn mower. It will grow on it's own. If it gets dry, water it.
