Answers:
i took an avocado seed out of an avocado i had eaten. i wet a paper towel, put it in a ziploc bag and let it sit in the ziploc for about a month. after i unwrapped it, it had little sprout. i buried the whole seed under the soil and left the sprout above the soil. i only water mine about once every 4-5 days when the soil feels really dry. Mine started in January and is about 2 feet tall now. Hope this helps.
