What are somethings I need to remember when moving out of my house into an apartment?
Answers:
you have neighbors now that can here everything. also get renters insurance. for just a couple of hundred bucks a year you can usually get at least 10K worth of coverage. you never know you may have a drunk next door that like to start cookin and then passes out
Other answers:
Just remember Lights, Phone, (Depending on where it is Heat and A/C)
Things are much different from a home to an apartment. It is almost like living in a bee hive... For a lot of people that is perfect.
Oh, thinking about other things with old place. Turn off everything you are paying for, and make sure it is as clean as possible so you can get your deposit back.
Get renters insurance no matter house or apartment. (Cheaper then losing everything due to fires that you cant control)

Check your lease contract. Do you have to clean before leaving? Do you have to pay to get the carpets steamcleaned? Do you have to spackle the holes in the walls? Do you have to turn off utilities? (not likely)
Also - if you put down any deposit for your cable, utilities, etc.. remember to get them transferred over to your new place.
just remember, that there is less space for all your stuff
it will not be as spacious less cabinet space
you have to be more quiet, more alert of your vehicle in public lots, i perferr a house
