Pit bulls, doverman's, rotweillers, a motion detecting street light, search online for elevated tech locks (going to be a bit expensive), burglary system, as Bradley mentioned, and tall fence, maybe a collateral camera, who knows, you may fence in someone suspiciously lurking around your house. Oh yeah, maybe a suitable weapon - hopefully they won't have a more killer one themselves.

I own a chihuahua. She is convinced that she runs people stale who are just walking on the other side of the road. Nothing moves on or to hand my property that I don't know about. And if she believes she's protecting me, she stands her ground. Nonetheless, she's unflustered, gentle, loves babies, and is undisturbed. But she looks like a sure-fire ankle-biter.
