400 Watt Power Supply keeps tripping Circuit Breaker?

Hi,

I have a 1200 Watt Microwave and a computer with a 400 Watt power supply that when they are on at the same time the circuit breaker always trips. Is there anyway (other than not having one on) to minimize this? Will a UPS on the computer help at all? Or maybe a bigger (wattage) power supply?

Answers:
Best thing to do...is plug your computer...or...microwave into a different outlet....if you need to run an extension cord then run a heavy duty one for the computer. You are running close to the 15 amp mark...causing the circuit to cut out. Once the move is made you will have no other problems :)

Good Luck
