i am looking into making my jade leaves smaller. does anyone know how to make it so the leaves don't grow too big and possibly remain smaller?

Any plant that you planted in small container would likely have stunted growth, because as the plant mature the roots will also spread out too, and if there's no room for the roots to grow most likely the plant become small, just like the concept of making a bonsai plant. Make sure your jade plant is not planted in a big container.
