i have little ants in my kitchen how do you get rid of them?
Answers:
Ask them nicely to leave. Sit them down and tell them to think about the impact they're having on your life and how they should change their behaviour, then list the pro's and cons of living there. That will teach them!!

use one of those fantastic bug bomb things that you have to leave your house for. They work wonders.
keep a thin layer of boric acid on your counters and also set out ant bait it worked at my house...
I have tried ant traps and pesticides from the store. The only way I was able to get rid of them was to call an exterminator.
have you tried killing them
yeah this is the season for ants. Use a spray around baseboards and molding, put ant traps out and use the Fog.
Put some glue into a lid of a jam jar. keep it there and just check on it every so often, if you have found some there they are dead, i know about this as my grandfather does it and it does work really well.
Sprinkel some talcom powder around and on windows and doors. It will help you
Spread Turmeric where they have a hole to stay at bed time they wont come out again.
Spray of Acids type item may make your eatables also poisonous.
wipe everything down with bleach water. you might also try getting a spray bottle put bleach water in it to spray along cracks
see if you can follow their trail to see where they come in and place powdered Tide laundry detergent in that area. sounds silly, but it works.
We have had success with "Terro Ant Killer." There are other similar products under other brand names too, in case that one isn't available in your area. Should be tho. Here's how it works. It comes as a little bottle of syrupy goo and has some perforated cardboard squares. Just put a little goo on the tab and put a few of them around where the ants are traveling. They like it and they take it back to the colony. It kills the colony. there is another product that you can use to prevent (hopefully) it recurring. You'd have to ask for it because I don't recall the name. You put it at the base or foundation of your house and it supposedly deters them so they don't come in at all. The Terro has really worked for us and it's done the trick on 3-4 different types of ants over the years.
there is ant powder you can buy from the supermarket, just pour it around the house where ants are visible. Make sure you get rid of bushes and tree branch's, that may be leaning against home as this gives the ants an entry point into your house. Feel free to use fly spay as well on the ants just remember to wash the benches in kitchen before using for food preparation and didnt leave food in the open when spraying the stuff around. That should help somewhat.
Dont use any chemical. Its always toxic for you and your environment anyway.
Simply crush them one by one with a paper towel when you see one. Very efficient and simple!
you can go to kroger and they have this stuff called kill the ants! just place it on your coner and they will go right on it and they will die and there will be no more
we use avon's skin so soft bath oil around the floor boards, wood trim and wood panels.
leave a trail of sugar grains leading to the out side and then leave some sweet food stuff there and maintain for a few days. You would have done a good thing by protecting their lives and feeding them at the same time. They will not come back inside. God bless.
We have the same problem every year, go to the laundry section of the store and buy some Mule Team Borax and sprinkel it around on your counters and under the sink, wherever you are finding them, leave it out for a few days, they will drag it back to their nest, and it will also kill them, when you see no more signs of them just vacuum up the Borax, no chemical sprays needed. Works for me every year.
