We want to own a patio mart, but the pieces we hold are not your typical 'patio sale' items.?
Answers: In your case, I would support listing these items within the newspaper or on E-bay.
try ebay or register in local treatise
Here is an example of a good poster to place in the tabloid and other papers:
http://atlanta.craigslist.org/emd/422411...
sell them on ebay, or catalogue them individualy in the broadsheet.
you may not get nearly what you hope to.for example...you clearly remember paying $80 for that plate, but likelihood are that there are severely few people who attention about it, and are of a mind to pay much for it.
obedient luck.
remember...its just stuff.
yes....progress to an ebay store.........
You take your items to the store and the character there puts your items for mart on ebay and then charges a small allowance for their services.
You can have a 'reserve' price on the item so you dont hold to accept a ridiculously low bid.
This agency it is like have an auction that you invite the whole world to attend.
Try it. You will own much better luck than if you were to try to deal in the items to just the few nation in your neighborhood.
Call the local auctioneers (look contained by the yellow pages) and own them come take a look and they will present you an idea what things are worth. Then you can hold them do the work for you. You can set a reserve on the items before they walk to auction. The auctioneer will help you set conceivable expectations too.
another option to try... http://www.craigslist.com or look on yahoo groups for a... for Dutch auction or barter group in your nouns. these at least are free!
if you own flea markets where on earth you live you could try that. people stir to flea markets looking for conceivable priced items.or maybe a consignment store.
Try the local swap bump into. If all else fail try eBay. You can always put a Reserve on your item so you don't hold to sell it for a low-grade price than intended.
People who generally stir to yard sale don't have alot of money to spend. I would try the flea market/swap gather round.
Good Luck! :)
