I'm looking at buying a new bed and looking for opinions on the Tempurpedic vs Sleep Number bed; any thoughts?
Answers:
the sleep number bed is bad for posture if you use it at a lower "sleep Number" (below 60) and above 60 to 100 its pretty much firm. Additionaly the air dose seep out over time and a remote will get annoying after a few months. why waste time finding your number while you can go to sleep and have the bed adjust to you automatically. Plus tempurpedic ahas a better warranty 10 full 10 pro the other is 3 full 17 pro. Air beds are todays waterbeds just a fad. On tempurpedic dont let the sales man trick you by telling you that the bigger mattress has more visco hes lying they all have 3 in visco and the rest is convoluted foam feel the side of the bed and you will see what Im talking about. Even though price is not an issue you can always get free pillows (insist on the real deal not imitations) mattress protector free delivery and frame on these sets

My sister has the tempurpdic bed and pillows. In adddition to being the most comfortable bed I have ever been on, it has been a godsend for her since her three back surgeries. In addition to comfort, they have a wonderful customer service, which i believe to be an important factor when buying any larger purchase. They are also guarateed for life. You will never buy another bed.

I would go Sleep Number. I don't have one yet, still saving for one. I slept on my son's and had the best sleep ever! My sister and brother-in-law have one too, my sister has had hip and leg problems and this has helped with her sleep. Everyone i have talked to about the Sleep Number bed love them. I figure word of mouth is the best answer, even though i did have a chance to try one out too. I have back problems and this was the only bed i have been able to drop right off to sleep in.
