hi i've just moved and have no idea how to organise the kitchen ! any ideas?
Answers:
I have a diddy kitchen at home and it's given me a chance to de-clutter (unless you have a family!). I have beams in the kitchen and hang a few pots & pans etc off there. Also, racks on the wall - as long as the utensils are all wooden or all chrome/steel it shouldn't look untidy. Also, Lakeland (homewares catalogue) have a great long, rectangular trolley that can hold loads of condiments, jars etc & will easily slot in between cupboards and a washing machine for example.
Failing this, eat out as much as poss!!
Other answers:
If you go onto either the Ikea or B&Q website (B&Q website is www.diy.com) then they have kitchen planners on there. Alternatively, you can get someone from B&Q or Ikea to come to your home for a free consultation about what you can do with your space.

move again
Put your cups in a cupboard above where your kettle is if possible. All tins/dry food in cupboards near to the fridge. It will probably be a matter of trial and error. If something doesn't work where it is, move it around. Have fun!
Organise the kitchen??? You clearly have waaay too much time on your hands ...
just go to a kitchen shop they will ahve ready made designs, or do it yourself, pick everything yourself it is fun and then it is how you want it.
There are computer programs also that are fairly handy to use giving you the options to change the layout as many times as you want till you get it the way you want it to be.
