Getting out weekly stuck to the hearth rug ?
Answers: First, you need to determine if the hearth rug fibers have melt to the paper. If the hearth rug is synthetic and since you applied heat, it's a possibility.
If it have not melted, use a wax solvent, available at the grocery surrounded by the cleaning products aisle to remove the wax and the paper.
If the hearth rug has melt, the only bearing you'll be able to remove it is to cut it past its sell-by date. You can try, with terrifically small scissors to go lower than the paper and trim the fibers to remove the rag. Remove as little fiber as possible, obviously.
If that technique isn't possible, you may have to replace a portion of the hearth rug. If you don't have any extra hearth rug, perhaps you can remove a piece from inside a closet. Using a runner knife, cut a square out of the runner removing the damage, use the cut piece as a template to cut a tentative piece to place into the hole. There is carpet binding cartridge available at most craft stores to bind the seams together. When placing the foreign piece, be sure the weave goes within the same direction.
Maybe you can use a soaked cloth- one you won't mind getting rid of- to continue ironing the composition out.
Good luck!
try get a saw and try to saw the rag and wax off.. NOTE:ONLY AN IDEA!!! NOT A SUGGESTION!!! results may swing....possible results: bald spot on the hearth rug, injured fingers.
