Growing tomatoes and cucumber at home?

i have not long potted 2 tomato plants and 1 cucumber plant on my balcony contained by florida.
obviously the weather is other warm here but on my veranda at this time of year there is no direct sunlight.
what can i expect from my plants???


Answers:    Not a full lot. These are both species that do well contained by full sun (meaning 5-6 hours of direct sunlight a day). Some of the short season tomatoes like cherry tomatoes will probably do better for you than the standard huge tomatoes.
