Oh they are so nice.
They also do not need to be vented. All you need is water and power. Also , you they dont have that big, bulky dryer plug, its a normal 3 prong plug. They cary them at Lowes, Home Depot, and Sears, im sure many other places.
They are running from 1200-2200. But worth every penny to put your dirties in and have them come out clean and dry.
If you talk to repairman, anything made by Whirpool is high quality. They are very durable, and repair and replacement parts are easily gotten reasonably inexpensively.

We've got the Kenmore HE4t washer and HE4 dryer. They're kind of large, but well worth it, as they use hardly any water compared to our top-loader and the clothes are actually coming out a lot cleaner than I thought possible.
Oh, and the ability to wash something like 10 oversized towels at once is a nice bonus.
