i like these,but within are only a few specialist nursry's(interstate)where i live(australia)&hobby'ists move about to alot of trouble setting up green house/humid ect.conditions,i want to collect these,without going to such extremes...Who out here keeps these?What nature?How big&how long have you be doing this?Any pics,i can see?(I've only manage the comon'venus flytrap',did get him(fang)eating/reproducing okay.But the crows go after the insects&contained by turn destroy my little guys!

Answers: They go to such extremes setting up vivariums to replicate the plants local habitats. If your not likely to do this, you'll be met with slowly dying plants.
However, if you can gain ahold of Purple Pitcher plants from the U.S.A. they can be forgiving of less than optimum conditions.
