For sure if you can afford it, the prices will only continue to rise in a highly sort after place like london and after a few years will be worth far more than you paid for it, you could also get a tidy sum renting it out although you have to be careful about getting decent tennants or it can be a nightmare, good luck with your venture.
Apparently the North is rising at a quicker rate. That said I think you would be mad not to buy in London at the mo if you have the funds- prices are rising at an alraming rate
We bought a central London property (a flat) at auction for our daughter. There are still bargains about, especially at auction. But you mustn't be afraid to sit on your hands: one property we had gone to see went for more than £50k more than it was worth, and far more than anyone could make a profit fixing up for re-sale.

It used to be that you could make money in London property by accident. No longer. Be careful. The banks will still throw money at you, but you could wind up bankrupt if the market turns.
If you work there - yes. The commute otherwise can be awful and long.

As an investment too it's not a bad way to invest your money long term but you'd get higher returns from the stock market. Buy to let is not really worth while as the rental payments probably wouldn't cover your mortgage (bank of england is about to put rates up).
I don't think so, London is not a great place to live. House prices are on the up so unless it is an investment stay clear
if you can afford it!! then hell yeah
Always. There will always be more people wanting to live in Londo than there are homes available. As the population increses the value goes up all the more. Long term you cannot lose out.
yes
It certainly is ,thats if you can afford it.
Provided there is not a major terror attack then yes, if there is though, house prices will plummet!
