I know what a piezo is, but what is a piezoelectric plate? Where can I buy them at? Radio Shack says they own never heard of them.
I am building (novice electronics) a circuit that requires a piezoelectric plate.
Is this seperate from a piezo?

Piezos are largely a crystal, but I've seen recent developments where on earth they are deposited on silicon (plates?) and are are being tested as 'touch screens'. RScott
Piezo is the all your own of any substance that produces an electric discharge when struck or distorted. They are generally crystaline and can be cut and formed into oodles shapes including plates. Check Google for sources.
