Why have my Water Lily produced no flowers this year?
Answers: There are times when mine don't bloom either. Some one told me that it could be that any the water is too hot or too cold and that they be too various in the pot and they may obligation to be separated into other pots. In my case, they needed to be separated into other pots, I even give some away.
With some varieties depth of wet is crucial. Dividing the plants in the spring can oblige too. Also, make sure that they are not within moving water.
I don't need to add to your misery, but we adopt these measures this year and have have so far 11 blooms from one plant, with more to come! Much better than concluding year when we had 2 miserable blooms from several (overcrowded) plants.
Overcrowded plants will not bloom so this could be the do.
You can generally share if the plant is overcrowded because it will start to send some of it's leaves up above the marine instead of them just lay on the surface.
Divide in the spring.
