i called 411 and they asked for the buisness book and i tried to describe it to them but they kind of did the unharmed "i can't help you minus it" thing
Answers: I know this sounds crazy but you can put it out front beside a free sign on it and somebody might take it,.....BUT, If you put a "for sale" sign on it I promise somebody will STEAL it....funny how it works but that's newly the world we live in at the present time!!! Good Luck

Oh yes, one more: If the furniture have any life within it, donate it to any number of charities. They are usually glad to get donations.
lately call your trash company and ask them if they will filch couches, or whatever you inevitability to throw away.
