Whats the bigest vegey can grow in a garden???
Answers:
I've only personally seen giant pumpkins, so big (100 lbs or more) that they collapse on one side because they can't hold their own weight.

Last year, my farmer neighbor brought down a seedless watermelon variety that he was experiementing with. The thing was the size of a small child and it took us both to get it out of the back of his truck. I gave mamoth chunks of it to 6 different families in the neighborhood and still had enough to bring to our community block party. But, I'm not certain watermelon counts because it is not a veggie.

Zuchinni can grow huge if you let them. Pumpkins, like the answer said, or some types of squash can get huge too if you water and fertilize them right. I have seen corn stalks 15 feet high too though the ears were only about 1 1/2 feet long.
