If i put my aloe vera leaf in soil will it start roots?

Answers:
No it will not.
When you have an adult aloe plant you will see eventually little offshoots at the bottom. These offshoots can and should be removed with atleast a little bit of a root system intact and put into thier own pot. Often times if you get too many of these baby plants they will kill the main plant. So move em out ! ;0) This is how you will get more aloe plants
