What heat should my freezer be set on?
Answers: Freezers should usually be set at 0 deg. F. Most manufacuters will recommend that. Much warmmer than that, and ice cream will be thoughtful of on the soft side. Also, it's an optimum temperature for meat and other frozen foods.
Our freezer is set at 3 as recommended by the manufacturer. Our refrigerator/freezer are both set at 5 - You will know where on earth you want it after a few days. Ice cream is a good indicator whether you should adjust any up or down.
