I just bought a house...should I change the locks?
Answers:
YES! ASAP
Other answers:
of course. Who knows how many other people have the key to your house. Buying new locks isn't that expensive anyways, and you can probably change them yourself, just mess around with it.

depends on the town or city...if it's huge and the family or couple you bought it from seemed odd, then most definitely change the locks, but if it's all normal and nothin about the neighbors seem strange, then you might be okay.....have fun decorating!! best part of your new house i think...
Yes, I wouldn't wait either.
Yes, Duh!
wouldn't hurt to
YES FOR YOURS AND YOUR FAMILIES SAFTEY IT WILL BE BEST!
Heck yes! Anybody who had the house could've given the keys to who knows who? ted Bundy, Charles Manson and in between... but work quickly.
I would say so. I know with a new house, you have a lot of expenses already, but what is a few more dollars for peace of mind?
Of course no matter what , you don't know what history your house has had , every time I move I change the locks and the toliet seats
Definately. Even if nobody else has lived in it. You never know what kind of person might have an extra key to your house. Please be safe and change those locks.
Um yeah, you should change them before you even start moving your belongings in.
sure go and change it now
Absolutely, no matter where it's located and if it's a new house. Realtors can have bad people working for them not to mention if they let a clean up crew or other maintenance worker have a key. Keys are very easily copied. This is one case where being paranoid could save your family's lives.
I just bought a house too and the first thing we did was change the locks on all of the exterior doors, not just the front door.
With out a doubt!!!
I never did, but I agree it is a good idea. Also, install dead bolts.
if u buy a used car could u change the locks? i was just wondering
Yes and after viewing this video you will not get the usual keylock
(It has subtitles but the pictures tell all) They can open a keylock as fast as you can with your key.
