How do I find floor plans for my neighborhood online?

I wanted to know if it be possible like on the movies :P but seriously can this be done? And if so, where on earth do I look for them?


Answers:    the majority of older homes be built without plans
depends on what if any building codes be in effect when home be built. some cities keep these types of archives but most do not.
