I have a 300 pound floor safe which no longer functions. How do I get rid of it? Scrap yards, et al, decline.

Call your local thrift store to see if they will pick it up.. most News papers have a free section you can list it.. Bribe a neighbor to haul it out for you and put free on it.... People will take anything..

Call a safe or locksmith shop in your area. They could use your safe for parts on service calls they do....
