What's the best style to save a legitimate christmans tree from drying out?
Answers: Once you have purchased the tree, own the vendor (or do it yourself) cut rotten about 1/2" to 1" of the bottom. Sap seal off the wood once the tree have been cut, so create a fresh cut to allow for a pathway for dampen. Then place in your stand and place lukewarm dampen in it. This will abet the wood to absorb a litlle faster. Keep adding up luke warm marine for a few days, then after that join just plain slap water. Also check to see if any of your air/heat vent are directly blowing on the tree. When your heat is on, and blowing on the tree, it may dry out faster so you may want to switch them if they are. There are also some great additives to place in the hose down to help the tree to closing a little longer. I own used a product called Jetfresh for a few years that have worked really well. But most of adjectives keep wet in the tree stand. You might also want to alteration the water occasionally. I use a small cup to remove as much of the older water out as possible, afterwards add fresh wet.
