When should I stop filling my hummingbird feeders? I live in NE Tennessee.?

Answers:
i just read an article about this the other day, a hummingbird expert lives in my area and the newspaper keeps us informed
on what we should do, the expert said we should keep food in the feeders until November 15 (we live in Alabama) he also
said some hummingbirds will overwinter (not migrate) and will
use the feeder year round, although I've never seen any in the winter

Usually on Labor Day weekend. However, if you leave them up a little longer, the hummingbirds will migrate regardless, but again, a good rule of thumb is Labor Day weekend. Start filling them again around April 1.
I am a firm believer that you keep filling them a least a week or so after you see the last bird. While the birds are migrating, there is very little for them to eat. We all need to help them out along the way.
