Do I have to drain my pool if someone has had a POO in it?

Someone seemed to think that the fact that their child ended a period of constipation in my Pool was OK! I am not so keen on this, and now the rest of my family wont swim in it until it has been completely drained. Can someone tell me if I really need to go through the rigmarol of doing this? Thanks

I can only find information on public pools and they do drain the pools in most cases. However, I have found some sites where they use chemicals.
