Where should I look for the wasp nest?

There are wasps buzzing around our house. Every once in a while they come in. I'm concerned for my daughter, so the wasps are going on a one-way train to deadville. Unfortunately, I can't find their nest!

Any hints or tips on where to look? Thanks!

We have a terrible wasp problem, and we find them in all the typical places people have already mentioned, but we also get them under the deck, and in our rose bushes. When you do find the nest...This is very important...Wait until very early morning to spray it. Wasp sleep together all huddled together. They usually get busy around 8:00am. If you go out early, you can get them all with one big squirt of wasp and hornet killer. If you do it when just one or 2 are there, the others will build somewhere else.

Under the eaves...in nearby bushes. If they're yellowjackets, watch out. They'll eat your lunch.
First place...under the eaves of you and your neighbors house!
They usually are up under teh rain gutters or some type of ledge.

Try following one home.
Look up in the corners of your front porch, if you have one, under the eaves of your house, in the trees, etc. If you have an exhaust fan/vent in your bathroom(s) they'll also build nests in those.
Eaves and overhangs. They could also be in a gap in the siding... a vent for the attic... several different places. Just keep an eye out and see where they go.

The good news (I guess) is that wasps do not reuse nest. So when the fall comes and the wasps are gone, they won't use that nest again.
sometimes the nests are under ground. you might try to just watch them sometime and see if you can follow one. Look in all the trees, on all of the eves of our house. under the deck if you have one. The ones that are on the houses are usually high up. They might even just be coming over from the neighbors house. Good luck and hope they catch that train!
Try the Hamptons. It's a popular place for wasp migration in the summer season.
I found a bunch when I cleaned my house. Hunt for a solution and a pressure sprayer. The solution was mostly water, some bleach, some detergent.

When spraying on the house when it gets in opennings that wasp can be nesting they will let you know they don't like it. (They will be angry).

Hunt for house cleaning solutions on the net and get a clean house and find the nest.

Good luck
If you've tried all the above and not found them, you could try trapping them by opening cans of coke around your property or hang some wasp traps.
