I'm trying to get my green thumb going but I don't know too much. I'm really interested in starting a fall and winter garden. I think zone 7 is Northeast Mississippi. Any advice and tips will be appreciated.

You can plant lots of things! Lots of green veggies prefer the cooler weather. You could try cabbage, collards, broccoli, kale,brussel sprouts, onion sets (to late for seed), yellow squash, smaller winter squash, tomatoes (plants, not seed), there are LOTS of possibilities!
