How do I find out how much a small oak side table would be worth?

It's a small drop leaf table next to sort of magazine rack at the bottom.

cart it to 3 antique shops an get 3 differnt quotes this mode you wont get ripped stale
ask someone to your house and get them to utility it when they offer you lb40.00 for it you know it would be worth 5 times that
check out ebay...look for style, colour size and condition or closest to......should go and get some idea. Failing that hype it in local free ad paper if you hold one. set your own price.
