Why is it so hard for me to get organized?

Too much stuff. I have helped many people get organized and it usually falls into four catogories, Stuff I use, stuff that I will use (maybe) stuff that I need to get rid of and stuff I will get rid of someday. Put stuff in trash bags and wait a week/month/? if it isn't in catagory one. If you don't miss it then you didn't need it and it should be donated/ tossed. Space is valuable and think about what you have that's really worth it.

you wont get organized unless you get rid of things or get 2 separate rooms for each kid, and a room for yourself.
then you can close their doors to their rooms to their mess.

Well you are the blame in this one... you probably just let them do what ever they want.. You should buy some containers.. for toys and clothes and seperate them all ocoordingly... Small spaces are tough but can be done.. just organize and stick to the plan
Sharing a room is hard, and depending on their ages even harder. to get, and stay organized try this :
1. put toys away, in storage bins, and the toys they play with in smaller child bins. (usually found at Wall*mart, or a dollar store)
2. Clothes are easily taken care of in dressers, and hung in closets. Some kids like to arrange their clothes so they know where they are...(so ask if they want to do it/ or help)
3.Other stuff. (papers, and coloring supplies, pens, and markers. Find a smaller box, a shoe box, or plastic box for the colored markers, and other drawing things, hang some pictures up, and the ones that have been long since not missed i would say get red of.
4. Papers that you need, should be filed, or put away.
5. Depending on their ages there are other things like books, and electronics. within the room there should be a stand for such things, and maybe a shelf would help to get things off the floor.
