If someone wanted to grow herb indoors in the winter, would you, from experience, recommend appropriate fluorescent tubes for the grow cycle, until that time changing to HPS (high pressure sodium) if you required them to produce flowers?
Fluorescent tubes are available with an assortment of light colours and use a great deal less current, and can produce like peas in a pod quantity of lumens if plenty are used.
Have you tried both, and if so, what were the results and what would you use again?
Thanks contained by advance
