Why are in attendance rotten spots on the bottom of my tomatoes?

I live in Connecticut and own patio tpmatoes growing surrounded by pots. I use Miracle Grow and also a Fruit & Vegetable Insect Spray.
Why do about 40% of them hold to be thrown away?

Answers:    I think that biddable soil and regular even watering [not too much or too little] is often the best solution - and rotating locations [not tomatoes contained by the same spot every time.] Look up "blossom finish rot." See the picture at link below...
too much sun? perchance..
I think you vanished them out there too long.
very well it could be dry rot because if you didnt get plentifully of rain. specifically happening to adjectives of mine in Wi , but idk what the weather is similar to in conneticut.
They've probably be infested with insects and once the skin is broken, the microbes take over and the tomatoes rot. Maybe you should pick them since they ripen on the vine and let them ripen contained by the house. They won't taste as perfect, but at least you won't be throwing so much of your crop away.
Usually it is call "blossom end rot" and here surrounded by NC, they say it comes from too much marine. However, I found in my years of tomatoes, that it other on the first tomatoes of each plant. As soon as you see the brown spots, verbs them off and discard. Usually the subsequent to bare are not approaching that. Too much Miracle Gro is not good any. Good Luck!
MOST OFTEN IT IS FROM TO MUCH WATERING
usually it's from inconsistent watering. if it's a black spot that is.
