It depends on the house prices, are they rising? If so, a nice house in Cyprus would make a lot of money in coming years. Would you get good rent? These are the questions to ask when buying property abroad. It all depends on your point of view. Is it worth the time and effort?

It depends. If you are going to live there definetely yes. If it's for investement you need to look for a good deal. I think the market is cooling off. Do not buy stolen property in the occupied areas of Cyprus. Cyprus is a great place to be as long as you have money. Young professionals have difficult time. Retirees have a great time.
