I have recently foung dozens of tiny spiderlings in my small apartment.?

They are very tiny...most people would probably not see them. But I have found them on my couch, my cats, my bookshelves, and coming from the ceiling. I have a VERY high ceiling that cannot even be reached with a tall ladder, if I even had one.

I don't know if they hatched in a cobweb from the ceiling or maybe inside my ventilation system and are coming out through the vents.

But I cannot STAND spiders and have very sensitive skin. I've already noticed a few bites. I'm thinking of buying a fogger device, but am worried about my indoor cats. Will the fogger help...and if not, any other suggestions?

Answers:
bug foggers buy one for every room and 2 for big rooms and put 2 in the Attic and 2 in the basement/crawlspace and stay out for 2 hours then clean your place it WILL kill all bugs. take your pets with you and when you get back clean the water/food bowls and the pets will be fine so the cost of 10 foggers is less than one visit than orkin man and thay want a contract

Other answers:
better call the Orkin man! They can tell you what you can do and maybe will even come out and spray for you .... face it, bugs and spiders alike are here to stay and are a large part of our world

You can't fog with any pets in the apartment. Are they spider mites? Spider mites are VERY tiny. You might have to do quite a bit of cleaning to get rid of them. Do you store a lot of boxes and/or paper? Try to store your things in plastic tubs. We have used foggers for fleas and they did a fantastic job. I live in the midwest and we have a lot of brown recluses(sp?) They do bite and can really mess you up. But they have never been as bad as what you describe. Call your apartment manager. He's responsibe for calling in a pest service.
