Do you own your own home?

What kind is it? How many do you have? Do you find home ownership to be taxing?(as in something always needs fixin'.)

Answers:
yes ,I own my own home, and I love it! its a blue ranch with 6 bedrooms 3 full baths and an acre and a half of land, I have planted fruit trees and many plants/ flowers/ bushes etc...its not so much as there always being some thing that needs to be fixed as much as there is always some thing else I want to do to it, inside and out... its like a never ending project/ hobby, that you love changing and working on !

No,I don't and exactly for the reason you mentioned.
Yes...3 bedrooms, 2 bath..dining room...double car garage...nice front porch...deck...keeps me busy..especially the landscaping...weeds ARE NOT my friends.
I own my own home, and rent an apartment as well. I love owning my own home, the abilty to own my own land, be responsible for my own property is empowering. However it is quite taxing, from the amount of work you have to do to keep up the house, grounds, and property, it is almost easier to own an apartment and be done with it.

As it is, i own a 1600sqft home with a 2000sqft barn on 20 acres in the united states that i'm selling :)

To the previous poster (i love america) omg, your nuts. This country no longer offers the same freedoms and rights to property owners and land owners as it once used to. Do some reasearch before you make such inane comments like that.
i've owned a house for almost a year now. i'm 23 and the house was built in 1880, so theres lots of stuff that needs to be done. the ppl that were here for the last few generations seemed to have stopped updating things in the 50's. its a lot of work, and its going to take me a good 3 years or so before i really get this place the way i'd like it to be, and by then, i'll want to do more. but i wouldnt trade it for the world. its a hundred times better than anything else i've done. it's not perfect, but its MINE. all the decisions, all the choices, all the work, and all the rewards. i wouldnt trade it for for a new house anyday.
Yes. One. Yes. It is alot more work than living in an apartment or renting a house. We have a huge house and a huge yard. Between cleaning, dusting, washing windows, gardening, mowing, and everything else I probably use up half my week!
i don't own my own home yet, but i plan to have my own next year. i plan to build a simple 3 bedroom, 2 bath house so it wont be to expensive
My parents own 4. The one we live at has 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, one jacuzzi room, the living room, kitchen, washing room, and the receiving room.
Yes. Bought an old farm house and am constantly doing stuffto it. Love it. Labor of love, as it were.
