Time. Give her time with YOU. I just turned 50 and that's what I would've loved from either or both of my teen daughters.
My mom just turned 53 and I got her a ring from a local jewlery artist, trendy and fun... to remind her she's still young ;)
I would buy her a scrapbook - and then write a really nice note and tell her that you would like the two of you to fill it with your special memories. Eventually the scrapbook will coome back to you and you will have something to treasure!
